German can compress relative clauses into attributes placed before a noun: die Ergebnisse, die gestern veröffentlicht wurden becomes die gestern veröffentlichten Ergebnisse.
Partizip I usually has an active, simultaneous meaning; Partizip II often expresses a completed or passive meaning. The entire attribute receives the adjective ending required by the article, gender, number and case.
