Die Stadt Linden plant ein neues Fahrradprojekt. Ab dem kommenden Frühjahr sollen in der Innenstadt zehn Kilometer neue Radwege gebaut werden. Außerdem entstehen am Hauptbahnhof 300 überdachte Fahrradplätze. Das Projekt kostet rund vier Millionen Euro. Ein Teil des Geldes kommt vom Bundesland. Viele Einwohner begrüßen die Pläne, weil sie sich sicherere Wege wünschen. Einige Geschäftsleute kritisieren jedoch, dass dafür Parkplätze wegfallen. Der Stadtrat entscheidet endgültig im November.
