Form the German conversational past with haben or sein and the past participle.

The perfect tense uses haben or sein plus a past participle. The helper is conjugated in position two, while the participle usually comes at the end.
Ich habe Deutsch gelernt.
Wir sind nach Berlin gefahren.
Most verbs use haben. Verbs of movement or change of state often use sein.
